0 New and improved SDK(Software Developer Kit) documentation

 The Documentation and Integration Team at cPanel are very pleased to announce the publication of the new and improved SDK documentation.  We’d like to take a moment to thank all of you, our customers, for your patience throughout this process. We are confident you will find the end product well worth the wait.

Essentially, rather than splitting the documentation into relevant web-accessible directories, we've compiled all of the SDK documents into a single, visible web directory. This change will allow us to locate and manage documents much more easily, which translates to faster updates for you! We've also created a comprehensive landing page so you can access links to all relevant documentation from a single location. We hope this feature will help you find information more quickly and easily. 

Along with a total reorganization, we've also cleaned up several existing documents. As a result, we believe the information is communicated more clearly and the overall legibility of the document is much improved. We hope you'll agree!

0 IPv6 Implementation Update

State of IPv6 in cPanel & WHM

IPv4 IP allocation depletion is somewhat analogous to Y2K. The solution is essentially the same, except instead of going from 2 to 4 decimal digits in a year, we're going from 32 to 128 binary digits in IP addresses while still supporting the old system. cPanel & WHM will continue to support IPv4 for the foreseeable future by means of a "dual-stack implementation" which includes support for IPv6 addresses while still accommodating IPv4 addresses.

0 cPanel & WHM 11.28 STABLE Release Update

We have been getting a lot of great feedback from our customers regarding our changes in 11.28. We are working hard to implement the best of those suggestions. We would like for all our customers to have a chance to have their voice heard. So if you have not done so already, then please take the time to tell us what you like or don't like about 11.28. There's always time for great ideas!
cPanel & WHM 11.28 is already available in the EDGE, CURRENT, and RELEASE update tiers. We try to avoid publishing major releases into the STABLE update tier during holiday periods in order to accommodate our partners' scheduling. We have rescheduled our release date for the STABLE update tier to January 3, 2011.
We will continue to do maintenance releases for 11.28 throughout its life cycle. So keep those suggestions coming!
